HONG KONG – (November 20, 2013) – Christie®, a major provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, showcases the world’s first and only 3-chip DLP® projector that offers full 4K DLP® resolution at true 120Hz, at SIGGRAPH Asia 2013 from November 20–22, 2013. Featuring the new Christie TruLife™ electronics platform, the new Christie Mirage 4K25 projector is purpose-built for 3D applications for advanced visualization in location-based entertainment, automotive, government, military, oil and gas and more.

Taking a quantum leap in image processing, the Christie Mirage 4K25 provides an unprecedented image fidelity, lifelike vibrant colors and up to 25,000 Lumens for the brightest 3D immersive experience. The proprietary Christie TruLife supports a video-processing pipeline of up to 1.2 Gigapixels per second, which is 10 times faster than full high-definition bandwidth. It supports various 3D interconnectivity formats, including: single sequential 4K 120Hz input, dual interleaved 4K 60Hz signals and 4K 60Hz sequential frame-doubled, with all three formats resulting in 120Hz 4K output. The built-in Christie Twist™ allows the projector to be used for curved screens and blended array visualization applications.
